RUN! If you do nothing else get out every day and run at least a mile. What’s that? You can’t make it a mile without stopping? No worries mate, just walk until you catch your breath, then run some more.
If you have an iTouch/iPhone there is a great running app called “Couch to 5k.” It will give you a cue when to walk, when to run, and it will get in shape to run a marathon within a month or two. That is of course if you follow the program. According to the app description it is a “3-days-a-week workout program spanning 9 weeks culminating in your ability to run 5 km or 3.1 miles without stopping or walking.”
Questions, Comments, or Hallucinations? No, I don’t get a commission on sales. Yes, it costs a couple of bucks. Anything that gets you off the couch and in shape in 9 weeks time is well worth it in my opinion. Harrison put down the pink bunny rabbit and pay attention please. (Well I did say Hallucinations after all.)
